SPIRITUAL WISDOM IN PHOTOGRAPHY - TIBETANS PERSEVERE IN EXILE
Sunday, November 4th through Sunday, December 9th - Exhibit open to public. Hours vary. Eleanor Hand [bio] is an artist and is a member of the Medical Expeditions International Medical Team.  She photographs the strength, patience, humor, and beauty of the human spirit as seen around the Loseling Altruistic Medical Clinic (LAMA). The Clinic is located at the Drepung Loseling Monastery in the Tibetan Colony in Mundgod, India. Some of the photographs are accompanied by stories that those photographed were willing to share. Visit a display of sacred and everyday objects gathered to enhance the publics visit. See a traditional woman's outfit, cup for beer, butter lamp, Tibetan book of sacred scripture, thangka sacred image wall hangings and more. Try your hand at mandala constructing, make a singing bowl sing, turn a prayer wheel.
