presents Tibetan Monks 2007 Spiritual Wisdom of Nuns Wednesday, November 28, 7:30-9:00 pm
Nuns have been a part of great religious traditions for many centuries. This evening the panel members will share what has remained the same and what has changed for nuns as the Twenty-first Century begins.
Rev. Ani Kunga Chondron, Sakya Order of Tibetan Buddhism, [LINK: Bio] will present the history and background of nuns in the Buddhist tradition. The role of nuns in Roman Catholic history will be presented by Sister Mary-beth Beres, OP (link).
A panel of 3 Buddhist nuns and 3 Catholic sisters will each speak about her particular life and tradition or order. The Buddhist nuns are: The Catholic sisters are:Sister Susan Araco [information] Sister June Racicot [information]

After the program, there will be a Q & A from the audience, followed by an informal "sharing time" with the nuns and sisters
