Closing Ceremony

The monks will conclude their creation of Manjushri, the Spiritual Wisdom Mandala, with a consecration ceremony. They will then begin the closing ceremony by dismantling the mandala. The colored sands will be swept up to symbolize the impermanence of all that exists. Half of the sand will be distributed to those present as blessings for personal health and healing.
