Tibetan Monasteries

Throughout the ages, visitors have come from all over the world to visit Tibetan Monasteries. They are not only beautiful, but are a symbol of the history and religious beliefs of the buddhists and Tibetan people. Many of these Tibetan monasteries were destroyed. Although this is unfortunate to hear, many are being restored, protected and even rebuilt. There are more than people realize, at the same time, far less than the original number are still standing.
